Responsible for the preparation of
the 'Stonehenge' clip for the past 10 years, and also has
a long ongoing association with the Mt Alexander, Linnburn, Te Aka
and Craiglea clips.
As a registered woolclasser for 25
years, the past 14 years concentrating on shed preparation and the
active promotion of Merino wool by combining rural photography and
freelance journalism interests. Working in the North Otago and Central
Otago regions, Barbara loves the job and the opportunity to work
with like-minded people whose aim is to produce the highest quality
raw product.
Although classing commitments are
only for 3-4 months she extends her interest within the wool industry
year round by being involved as a judge in National Shearing & Woolhandling
competitions, and as the classer representative on an advisory committee
to the New Zealand Wool Board.
Barbara is married to Graeme, with sons
Brad and Andrew.
